数年前にペダルが好きな彼女に連れられ、見に行った舞台。これが初めてのペダルの観劇になるのだが、たいしたことないとタカをくくっていたため、正直、度肝を抜かれた。
はじめこそ、陸上用のミニハードル持って何やってんだろう。と思ったが（ハンドルだと気が付くまで少し間があった、許せ。）キャストの演技を見ていくにつれ、気にならなくなった。
荒北にスポットをあてた話だったが、キャラクターをよく表現していて引き込まれるようだった。
舞台ならではの観客いじりや、アドリブに近いやり取り。観客との距離が近い舞台だと感じた。原作を知らなくても見られる舞台ではあるが、原作を知るとより深く楽しめる作品だったと思う。
